Horses run free in town. You have to wait to pull in to the gas station for the horse to move.
They are selling hay by the bale off of a big flat bed trailer and the horses are headed for it. Horses block the hamburger shop line too.
You see pickups with just a few bales. They must only buy as they can afford hay.
We were there on a Friday and it must have been pay day.
These people don't really shop in stores they have a roadside stand with a sign and people stop to buy their wares.
We went to the grocery store and pellets for pellet stoves were $5.39 a bag. Ouch!
They are selling coal out of a pickup in the grocery store parking lot.
We watched the transactions of hay sales off the flat bed trailer. They even sweep up the loose hay into garbage sacks and sell that too.
