Snowflake
As soon as we got off the reservation the economy turned up drastically. There are really nice homes in Snowflake as well as a new temple.
Arthur Antidotes

In the Navajo Nation..." What do they do out here?"
The trailers the Indians used to have with tires all over the roofs have been replaced with 1000 sq. ft. modulars. "Some got the memo some didn't".
Water bottles in the the truck ovenight are "frozen solid"!

Valley of Fire Park
We toured the Valley of fire park and saw beautiful red rocks.
I waited in the truck while everyone else hiked to a site and I really enjoyed people watching.
A Japanese and German man was really going on about our truck until they saw me sitting in it. I'm sure the conversation wa about hips and fat trucks!
All sort of people from all sorts of places. Amazing
I forgot to mention we went over the new bridge at the dam. You can't see a thing the barriers are too high.

Callville Bay
Oh my, the memories!
Kelly had never been here.
We went into the store and bought our yummy fruit bars. i had to have two. Lime and Strawberry!!! Yum
Callville is worse than Echo. Really long road to get out to the marina and they have built 2 new ramps. Sad!!
We drove through the campground and talked about grouchy rangers.

Lake Mead
We decided to ride over to check out the lake levels. We went to echo first.
The lake is down so far they have had to create new roads and shuttle you in a van to the marina because there is no place to park on the new road.
They are no longer renting houseboats at Echo and are in the process of moving them all and the Overton Campgound and marina are totally closed. The road to the Overton area is blocked off.

Logandale NV
We left Mesquite in the morning and headed for Logandale to find the trails to ride our buggies on.
We found them and parked in a nice big area with other outfits.
Lots of RZR's at this place. We took a beautiful ride just outside of the Valley of Fire Park.

Mesquite
We called Garry and Kelly and said to come on down to the warm on your holiday weekend.
We had a seafood dinner in the Casino and both of us were a little ill the next day. YUK!
